System Backup/Recovery Planning and Implementation

Given your system infrastructure, applications, and workflows, intechgra will work with you to develop a backup and recovery strategy to meet your business needs. Backup planning can be executed to include files at each of three levels: operating system (O/S) related files, application files, and database files.

Together we will determine backup methods and schedules that will ensure your system can recover from any type of failure. Backup recovery planning is available for single systems or entire enterprises and can take into account only existing infrastructure or can include the integration of new backup subsystems into the environment.

The deliverable from this package is a document describing your backup strategy and the recovery requirements given various data loss scenarios from loss of a single data file through complete system destruction. If new backup subsystems are to be integrated, a section of the document describes the requirements and implementation plan for that. The document identifies the triggers for each of the backup levels. For each backup level it identifies the specific content, media, and retention times. This document will also examine issues regarding various disaster scenarios and recommendations for contigency planning.
